Town Centre Shopping

Queen Street. delightful square and seating, providing panoramic views out to sea, is home to a unique mix of retail and leisure outlets, as well as the Grundy Art Gallery.

Victoria Street, a prime pedestrianised shopping street. It offers a wealth of leading national retailers, including amongst many others, the Disney Store, Marks and Spencer, Evans, and Whittard. It also provides access to the Hounds Hill Shopping Centre, Corporation street and the Grand Theatre bar, to the rear of the theatre.

Church Street, runs through the middle of the town centre, and is home to Marks and Spencer, Next, JJB sports, New Look and other famous names, as well as The Opera House, Winter Gardens and Grand Theatre. Plenty of public seating and periodic street entertainment and events.


Houndshill Shopping Centre

Houndshill Shopping Centre is situated in the centre of Blackpool beside the Blackpool Tower complex and is literally one minute from the main Blackpool promenade. At the heart of Blackpool Town Centre, Houndshill is the only enclosed shopping centre in the town, it is situated at the heart of the prime retail area and supported by the town's multi-storey car parks. Retailers include, Mark One, Dorothy Perkins, Early Learning, Superdrug, Pilot, Claire's Accessories, Clinton Cards.

Work has started on the new Modus extension of Houndshill Shopping Centre in Blackpool. Balfour Beatty, the contractors working for Modus, will refurbish and extend the scheme to an overall size of 398,000 sq ft
